Osmo UV protection oil 420 is the first clear oil-based UV-protection oil that has been developed to maintain the natural colour of timber and slow the greying process by 12 times compared to untreated wood.
A natural oil based microporous finish when this product is used means it does not crack, flake, peel, or blister. It is a water and dirt resistant, and moisture regulating product and reduces wood swelling and shrinkage.
Osmo 420 is ideal for doors, windows, cladding, fencing, and other vertically structured joinery. However, it is not recommended on flat surfaces such as timber decking. Place 2 coats on raw wood and for renovation, apply 1 coat to a clean, dry surface – no is sanding required!
