How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you fill out a form on our website to request a quote or more details about our products or make a purchase on the Quest website

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information that we collect might be your name, address, email address, IP address, and your purchase history. When you purchase online your card information is not held by us, it is processed by a third party payment processor, in this case Sage Pay, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. How is your information used?

What about digital marketing?

As a general rule Quest will not send promotional or direct marketing material to a Quest prospective contact through digital channels such as mobile phones, email and the internet, without first obtaining their consent.

Any existing customer/contact of Quest will be assumed to have legitimate interest in receiving direct marketing under the ‘soft opt-in’ rule, however Quest will give the clear opportunity to opt out in each message sent. 

If the an individual puts forward an objection, digital marketing related processing of their personal data will cease immediately and their details will be kept on a suppression list with a record of their opt-out decision, rather than being completely deleted. It should be noted that where digital marketing is carried out in a ‘business to business’ context, there is no legal requirement to obtain an indication of Consent to carry out digital marketing to individuals provided that they are given the opportunity to opt-out.
