One Of Quest Hardware’s Customers ‘The New Factory’ Expands Its Business And Builds Some Of The Largest Timber Luxury Homes In The UK

The New Factory The New Factory recently moved to bigger premises in Milton Keynes, the 16,000 square foot factory accommodates their woodworking business, which is making high quality wooden furniture for children’s nurseries, plus other bespoke furniture and allows space for the build of large timber luxury homes, these come in two main sizes, currently 45f x 20ft the largest UK size and also 40 x 20ft.

As the timber luxury homes are built inside the workshop, this means the work can be completed by the team in any weather and alongside the woodworking benches that are used to build furniture. Both projects use a wide range of consumables from Quest Hardware including screws, jigsaw blades, silicone, tapes, adhesives and safety equipment.

The New Factory has a Quest Hardware 1stop facility, this was also used at their original premises for many years and has expanded with the growth of the company as they increase sales and take on new projects.

The New Factory order woodworking consumables from Quest Hardware either through their 1stop facility or on a next day delivery service. The 1stop facility is a lockable cupboard that carries all the consumables that The New Factory use on a regular base. The cupboard is replenished by Quest Hardware and The New Factory only pay for the products they use.

Ollie Paine, General Manager at The New Factory commented, “As our business grows, we know we can rely on Quest Hardware to be able to supply us with the right woodworking consumables and ironmongery we need to complete our work.”

The New Factory makes wooden cots, tables and chairs for children’s nurseries and also completes bespoke furniture projects. Ollie added “Sometimes we will need a particular consumable like a varnish or a glue in order to finish a bespoke job, I’m always impressed with Quest Hardware’s knowledge of woodworking products and stock availability when I call for more unusual items and the prompt deliveries”.

Daniel Wells, Director at Quest Hardware commented, “It’s great to see our clients businesses grow. Our wide range of hardware products means that we can cater for a vast spectrum of woodworking project requirements
