#1 Intumescent seals
Intumescent strips are designed to maintain the integrity of fire doors by resisting the passage of fire for up to 60 minutes.
The products have been tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 22:1987. The strips are fixed in the edge of the door leaf or in the door frame. Two types are available Fire Only Seals or Fire and Smoke Seals. Fire and smoke seals incorporate a neoprene brush seal with a polypropylene central fin which acts as a smoke seal. All seals have a self-adhesive backing.

#2 Intumescent strip router cutter
These trend router cutters are available to fit your router tool making it quick and easy to cut the perfect shape in the door panel to install a seal.
#3 Intumescent Hinge Pads
Placed beneath each hinge leaf in fire doors with a rating of over 30mins. The hinge rating of over 30 mins. The hinge rebate in door edge and frame should be cut 1mm deeper to accommodate the pad 2 required per hinge.
#4 Egress Hinges for windows
The Egress window hinge has a 90° opening egress facility, allowing an escape route for fire safety. Suitable for PVC-u, timber of aluminium window profiles and particularly useful for the Trend Flush Casement Window System.
#5 4000 series door closer
Surface-mounted rack and pinion 1 hr fire rated door closer, suitable for use in commercial applications.
#6 Fischer Firestop foam
Fischer Firestop foam is a single component filler with effective fire resistance. Approved to British Standard BS476-20 for construction joints in walls and floors.

#7 Fire Mate Sealant
Fire Mate Sealant is an intumescent acrylic sealant that swells when exposed to temperatures in excess of 125°C to prevent the passage of fire and smoke and has a fire rating of up to 5 hours in certain joint configurations. Fired rated to BS 476 Part 20/EN1366-4 (2006). Acoustic rates to BS EN IS0 140/3. Tested for air permeability to EN13141-1.

#8 Range of fire door hinges
Quest offers a range of ball bearing hinges with screws included, these are all tested to BS EN1935 and many are covered by the Certifire scheme.
#9 Fire exit hardware
Quest stocks a range of fire exit hardware including single and double door push bar panic bolts, push pad emergency exit hardware and outside access for panic & emergency exit hardware. These are all certified to EN1125:2008
#10 Fire Extinguishers
Quest supplies water stored pressure, CO2, AFFF foam spray and dry powder fire extinguishers, these are all manufactured to EN3 and carry a five-year guarantee.
